Don Young obtained $30,000 in campaign donations from affiliates of his indicted colleague, Tom DeLay

Don Young claimed that House Republicans should retain their leadership posts, even after being indicted. The rule rescinded an ethics policy adopted by House Republicans in 1993, who at the time wanted to spotlight the ethical lapses of a prominent House Democrat.
